Francisco’s family.

The childrens relationship to their family is full of contradictions. On one side, they love their family and have great desire, but on the other side there are horrendous memories of poverty and violence at home. Because of that it took a few months until Francisco was ready to talk about his family with us. He wanted to visit his mother on christmas. If a children offers such a wish, we will support it. One of our pedagogues accompanied him, but near her house he suddenly became afraight. He was afraight of how she could react, because he had left quickly without saying goodbye or anything else. But when he finally entered the house, his mother received him lovely. Both of them were overwhelmed and started to cry. Proudly Francisco presented his homework to her. His mother was very happy that his life is now much better than it was before at hers or in the streets.
